Hi,
I have 3 Google Nest Hubs & 4 Mini's, one of the Nest Hubs has started with screen burn, it's not been nocked or dropped, I even bought screen savers for them when I purchased them.
I have seen that this can sometimes happen & I wanted to know how to get this fixed or if I should look at changing my home automation to Alexa? as I have not seen any issues with there system?
I can upload serial numbers & pictures of the problem, if you let me know what you need.
Many Thanks
Wayne

Hey Wayne_Ellis,
Sorry to hear. Could you post a picture of the screen that you see the issue on? Maybe if it is still in the warranty period you could exchange it.
Thanks!

It does not get any better if it's turned off & back on or left off for quite a long time.
I am not sure where to find the serial number from the screen, I bought 2 together so I am not sure what box belongs to what google.
Thanks

Thanks for the pic. Do you know when you purchased them and if they are in the warranty period?

It was before lock down, I will try to find my purchase in the emails list but how long is the warranty period?
Thanks

See this warranty page from Nest. The coverage varies from region to region. Hardware Warranty Center - Product Documentation Help

Hi All,
First, thank you JillG for answering this thread!
Hello Wayne_Ellis, just wanted to check in. Do you have any other questions or concerns? Thank you.

From what I can find it looks like the cover is for 12 month (best I can make out) I have had them for longer than 12 months about 20 months. Does this mean that its now useless (as its getting worse & harder to see a specially in day light) or do you repair them?
I am reluctant to buy more if they are not going to last very long, if not I may look at moving over to Alexa.
Thanks
Wayne
