Google home, account permissions…

Just got the Nest Hub and have two people in household. I want them to be able to use the google home we have to control the nest thermostat but not the Hub which is in the Bedroom.

On Android how can I set my Home as the main home and have access to the Nest Thermostat and Nest Hub while the other can access whatever and the Thermostat?

Assistance Would be greatly appreciate, been battling with this for days.

That's not possible unfortunately. When someone becomes a member of your home, you're granting them the same level of access as you as the owner of the home. The only workaround to do what you're asking is to create a separate home for the hub in your bedroom, reset it and set it up again in the separate home.

Hi Crmsn,

davidking is correct. I totally understand that these are good features to use with your Nest devices, but these features are not available. I'd suggest you submit feedback about it. Let us know if you have other questions and concerns otherwise, we will be locking this thread after 24 hours.

Best regards,
