YouTube Restricted Mode and Casting to any device - UPDATE

I've been meaning to revisit this thread regarding casting issues for a while.  It was locked before I could come to any resolution.  (Which is fine, I lost track of it for a while and have been troubleshooting this for months.)  In any case, I solved it, or at least now know why it isn't working.

 

It turns out the issue has nothing to do with Nest or casting.  I can't play restricted content (whatever that means) from YouTube on my devices because my YouTube account is a Brand account.  There is no way to age verify brand accounts (or Google is unwilling to allow that) so I can play content from my main account, but not from the Brand account.

 

So my question is: where do I take this issue?  I understand it isn't a nest/casting issue per se, but I'm having trouble finding a place to ask/discuss brand account issues in google's labyrinthine help forums.  If no one knows, that's cool too, I just thought I'd ask.  Thanks  in advance!
