Chromcast not available

My chromecast is set up with the app but I can't share my screen, after the set up says that is not available,  chromcast and phone are connected on the same WiFi network, I have tried to restore 2 times and still the same

What can I do?

Are any apps able to see the Chromecast? 

What about other phones?

Y tried with my husband phones, same.

I tried with YouTube and Disney, same

I can't share

What does the chromecast show on the TV? Does it look ready for casting or is it asking to be configured?

 

Does the Google home app find the chromecast and is it able to change its settings or reboot it?

In the App shows the option to reboot bur when I press, nothing happen so I have to do it manually

On TV, looks normal, time hour, weather and picture

I think there might be some networking issue, like something blocking broadcast packets. 

 

Male sure you have upnp enabled on the router.

If you have wifi repeaters, try without that.

Thanks for reaching out. Have you tried what @CarlosS suggested? Is this the first time you set up this Chromecast device on this network? To isolate, try to set it up via mobile hotspot from another phone. See the steps below for guidance:
 

  1. On the second phone, turn on mobile data and hotspot.
  2. On the first phone, turn on the Wifi, then connect to the hotspot of the second phone.
  3. From the first phone, open the Google Home app and proceed with the setup.
  4. Follow the prompts until you reach the Wi-Fi setup screen.
  5. Choose the mobile hotspot as the Wi-Fi network and complete the setup.
