Hello!
I installed my Chromecast, completed the setup and I see the device on my Google home app. When I look the device to cast from my phone it doesn't appear. If I select the device from the home app it won't connect even marked online and the device is showing connected on my tv screen. The same happens with my Google hub. I can request to the nest device to play something on Chromecast and it will work. Smart bulbs work correctly.
I tried factory reset on google nest and Chromecast several times and also deleting and installing the app on my phone.still doesn't work. Does someone has any ideas?

Try these steps:
If none of the steps above help, factory reset your Chromecast and do setup again. Once setup, try casting from those app(s) again.
