Chromecast Apple TV App incompatible with ‘Civil War’

Just bought newly released ‘Civil War’ on Apple iOS App on phone last night. This morning, I opened Apple TV app on chromecast to play it from my library and get “Incompatible Content To play this show, try using an Apple device”. Other titles in library work as usual and Civil War plays on iOS devices (iPad, iPhone). 

there is no warning in post for Civil War that it only plays on Apple Devices. 

any ideas?

Ya the same things just happened to us tonight. Civil war thru Apple TV on my phone and then I usually play it through the Apple TV app on my Google tv. No problem ever usually.

**bleep** we just spent $30, and can’t watch it on the big screen. 
no interested watching on my iPad screen!

I’ll go on apple help page to see what they are going.

I would suggest asking apple , it seems strange that they would restrict content to only apple devices, but...  Let us know either way what happens !
