It can be confusing if your Chromecast is not displaying video, even though you can hear audio coming through. Let's see what's going on.
In which port have you plugged your Chromecast into: an HDMI or HDCP port? I'd like to know if you have any other power source that goes to your Chromecast as well. Please let me know if your Chromecast has ever worked with your TV, and what status light it shows.
What troubleshooting have you done before? Here are some basic troubleshooting steps you can try if you haven't tried them yet:
- Unplug the Chromecast from the power source.
- Leave it unplugged for one minute.
- Plug the Chromecast back in for it to restart.
