I've successfully installed a 2nd gen chromecast to a Phillips TV. When live it shows a sideshow, si assume it is connected via WiFi to the Internet.
Problem is I cannot get to display the menu for pairing to my remote control. It has been reset several times with no success. The button on the side has been pressed and the led glows orange when pressed and released with nothing happening. If I press it for too long the thing does a factory reset.
What's the solution or should I throw it in the bin?
