Have there been any recent changes to your home environment, or any changes in Wi-Fi network or recent outages?

  • What is the status of the LED light that you can see on the device?
  • Is your Chromecast device and your phone connected to the same WiFi network?
  • Have you tried to reboot your Chromecast device?
  • Are you seeing an error message on your screen?
  • How far is the Chromecast from the WiFi router?
  • Have you tried connecting the Google Chromecast to a different power source?
  • When was the last time you factory reset the Chromecast?
