My chromecast shows up as online and available to connect in the Google home app, but sometimes it will not pop up in the drop down option on third party sites such as Netflix or YouTube, as available to stream. The device is not frozen, they are connected to the same internet connection and other household chrome cast appear as available. It's not frozen, and I cannot connect to the home store to reboot or factory reset either. I can connect to adjust other settings or connect to streaming apps but cannot alter the status of the device. I cannot afford a new one at the moment and could really use some help..

A few questions: what type of Chromecast device do you have? What's the LED light status on your Chromecast? When did the issue start? Is this only happening with Netflix and YouTube apps or across all apps?
