Chromecast devices do not have antennas needed to pull TV signals from the Air.  They are WiFi-ONLY and can only display content streamed through the internet.

In your TV, set the source (or Input) to where it was before; antenna or the digital box you were using before you attached the Chromecast.

If you're in Australia and experiencing difficulties accessing free-to-air live TV channels after using a Chromecast dongle, follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue. First, ensure your Chromecast is set up correctly and connected to both your TV and Wi-Fi network as per the manufacturer's instructions. Check that your TV input is correctly set to the HDMI port where the Chromecast is connected. Try restarting both the Chromecast and your TV by unplugging them from power, waiting a few seconds, and plugging them back in. Make sure they're connected to the same Wi-Fi network and that both devices have updated firmware and apps. If issues persist, consider performing a factory reset on your Chromecast. If problems continue, contact Google Chromecast support or the manufacturer for further assistance.
