This community has helped me over a couple of hurdles but I can't get over this latest one
Chromecast gen 1 -old
Nokia FastMile 5G Gateway 3 - new
During the Google Home setup I connect to the Chromecast's self-created wifi network and get through set-up steps until the wifi network to connect chromecast to. After that selection the next message is "Connecting chrome nnnn to network xxxxxxxxxx". It can't connect and asks for network password again. Retry option fails at the same spot.
I've switched devices off (left them off) switched back on, reset to factory. Many attempts
I have setup separate SSIDs for the 5GHz and 2.4GHz
I can't see anything that looks like AP Isolation in the router's gui - not client Isolation or guest mode or
WLAN Partition. WMM (?) is enabled
Stuck now and hoping you can advise

I could not get past Chromecast not recogising the wifi password
I bought a new chromecast device and did a factory reset on the router and (hey presto) Chromecast almost installed itself and I can cast from my laptop again
Thanks again for the forum

I got a bit further and TV now shows 'ready to cast'
Even connected to same wifi as used for chromecast set up I can't find the chromecast icon
Cast tab on laptop, for example, can not see any devices
Iphone that was used to setup chromecast doesn't have the chromecast icon on apps
Stuck again

Back in Google home and checking settings for new device - '
Under recognition and sharing -these setting are unavailable at the moment check your wifi connection
Chromecast device no longer connected to wifi? I'll set up through google home again
