Mirroring stops working

For some reason, my phone is unable to mirror it's content onto my TV via the Chromecast. I've reset the router and the Chromebook stick, but neither has made a difference. Anyone have any suggestions what to try next please? Cheers.

Same here, just today click bug was fixed, it seems related

  • Can you confirm if you are using an Android or iPhone device to control your Chromecast?
  • Is your Chromecast device connected to the same WiFi network as your mobile device?
  • Is the Chromecast firmware updated?
  • Could you please describe how you reset the Chromecast device?
  • After resetting your Chromecast device, did you get any error messages?
  • Can you see your Chromecast title in the Google Home app?
  • How far from the router is your Chromecast device?
  • Could you please double-check if your Chromecast with Google TV is connected to a WiFi network on the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz band?
  • Could you kindly check for wireless interference near the Chromecast with Google TV 4K, such as walls and floors, WiFi-enabled devices, other electronics, cordless phones, baby monitors, mirrors, radios, microwaves, Bluetooth devices, and wireless video equipment?

In the meantime, I can recommend you try the next troubleshooting steps:

  1. Remove and reinstall the Google Home app from your mobile device:
