As of today, I cannot cast to my LG TV with a gen 2 Chromecast installed. It worked last night, but today, fails to connect at every attempt.
Is this a known issue that's just arose?
Has it been reported to Google?

I'm also seeing it hang. I think it's an issue with the app though, as Plex is working to modify it. Originally when released for Android a few weeks ago you had to uninstall and re-download it to roll back but now it just sits there when you cast.

My Gen 2 is offline and the home app can't find it. I'm an iPhone user but wanted to share because I think Gen 2s are down again. I'm scared to try the factory reset since the last time we weren't supposed to 😞

In my case I open the plex app on my pixel 8 and choose to cast to the Chromecast. The Chromecast opens the plex app and sits at the plex logo while my phone sits there saying "connecting to living room TV". Nothing else happens after that.
I have factory reset the Chromecast.
I have cleared app cache and data for plex on my phone.
Other apps cast without a problem.
