Got a Chromecast HD to be able to stream from Chrome on my laptop. I yet to be able to connect to stream anything. Can't figure out what's wrong. The ChromeCast HD show up when you click on cast and you can select the device and yet nothing shows. We have a Nighthawk mesh system which allows for a single network name and yet some devices connect at 5G and some at 2.4, could this be the issue? I have no problems connecting to our older Chromecast from Chrome on my laptop, so the difference between 5G and 2.4 doesn't appear to be an issue with the older model. Any suggestions

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. You can try to refresh the communication between the involved devices (Chromecast with Google TV - HD, Netgear Nighthawk, laptop, etc.) by performing a sequential reboot. If it persists, we can isolate possible network issues by connecting your Chromecast device and laptop to your mobile hotspot and observe if it would still have the same behavior. Let us know how it goes.
