TV brand not in the list, trial and error becoming tedious. Can we have generic TV option

We have several Chromecasts with Google TV around the house both HD and 4K, we love them. Last count is 5 in total most 4K.

One of these is in my garage/workshop/home-gym where due to a misshap  I had to replace the attached TV this week.

As the CCGTV is so amazing and it's in a room where style is not important, I picked up a cheap used 32" TV without remote. The TV is branded VIVO  and was sold in Australia the supporting website has long gone according to the "wayback machine". VIVO is not listed in the CCGTV, searching around i found a universal remote listing some codes possible for VIVO 2410 and 2032.  which are according to the site also used by other brands:

Code 2410 is used with the following TV brands: ConiaPalsonicTeacVivo.

Code 2032 is used with the following TV brands: Belson, Bush, Conia, **bleep** Smith Electronics, DSE, Dual, Orion, Red, Standard, Strato, Teac, Technika, Technosonic, Techvision, Tevion, Vivo.

Of these CCGTV has a few but no luck with any of them, although with using Bush code 6 of the ones offered, the volume up turned the TV in stand-by mode. (although non of the power codes offered for the Bush did the same).

Now the CCGTV offers a lot of brands and some use same codes and I can trial and error all of them one by one resulting in unknowing retrying the same codes times again.

Is there a way or can a way be provided to go over the codes available amongst the brands, one by one just as one does under a brand. until a code is (maybe) found that does work, despite brand.  while this will be tedious it would take less time than going brand by brand to do the same.

PS.  I have a Harmony 900 remote that does know the VIVO and does work, but I can't extract from there what code it actually used.

Definitely room for improvement! I’d encourage you to also send this feedback directly to Google. You will not receive a response, unless Google need more details from you, however the team are still reading the feedback.
