I want to turn OFF the Reactions that keep randomly overlaying video content with party balloons, confetti, thumbs up/down, etc., but I need help locating the ON/OFF toggle setting on my Chromecast with Google TV (HD).
Google internet searches provide different steps for every device/app except Chromecast, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
(Running Android TV Version 12.)

Hi Jenny,
The Reactions have been there since I purchased the device over a year ago, however they've become more intrusive over time. Initially it was limited to random thumbs-up/down bubbles, but its accelerated in the past months to include party balloons, confetti, and fireworks.
They appear across all apps.
They appear in both English language and in subtitled dramas.
They even appear in the Chromecast Home banner previews.
They appear in the same videos on my neighbor's Chromecast device, which was purchased half a year after mine.
Appreciate any help you can offer on how to turn them OFF.
Best,
Dizlily

Please keep me posted.

Hi Jenny,
I see the option to insert photos to a message, but how do I attach video here?

Solved! But resetting and unplugging didn't do the trick. I finally discovered a helper app of sorts that had Reactions running as a setting in the background. Turned that off, and everything's golden. At last!
