When casting from the YouTube app, I used to be able to add more videos in the background while something was already playing. Now, the video that's playing restarts every time I add something to the queue. Am I missing a setting somewhere?
(I changed the autoplay setting recently, because each time I added a video, it was instead adding an unwanted 50-song mix. Maybe that's causing this new problem?)

Ok, I have factory reset the chromecast ultra and reinstalled the YouTube app. After set up, the issue is still persistent.
FW of the chromecast ultra is: 1.56.281627 and it's connected via ethernet cable.
Everytime I add a video to the queue, the current video restart or restarts and jumps to a previous point of the video.

Me too, but I haven’t changed any settings or anything. I think there is a bug in whatever update there was. Hopefully they fix it soon

Same, YT customer service said it was a problem with my TV, apparantly YT thinks 3 devices had the exact same problem at the exact same time. Makes me want to cancel my YT premium.

I'm using YT Premium aswell and the issue is the same with other account who has no premium.
When the queue ends and the auto suggested video starts, the video restarts seconds after aswell. Presumably, because the suggested video is added to the queue aswell. Adding a video seems to trigger it.
Any idea where I can contact support?

Same for me, but now I get "Device diconnected" instead every few minutes when casting.

I've got the same issue since a few days back. I feel like they manage to make the user experience wors and wors with each update 😞
