I have a 3rd gen Chromecast as well as Youtube Premium. A few days ago I started seeing ads when I cast videos from youtube even though I have Premium and am logged into youtube on my phone.

Looks like I found the problem. I signed in with another account (work email) in order to view a onedrive file. Then obviously signed in back with gmail. Today I deleted the work email account from other accounts and the adds don't show up for now.

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that. Could you check the status of your premium subscription on this link. Also, double check the account linked to your Google Home if it's the same as you've used before.
I also have you open this thread, there are community members there that had found a solution.

Where did you delete the work email from?

If you log out google remembers the accounts for easy log in. I deleted all accounts and signed in with the original gmail account.

I tried this and it seems to have worked for me. I wonder if there was some update that caused this because I had had those other accounts logged in for quite some time
