iPhone doesn't have cast option in home app

I recently got a Chromecast with Google TV (HD). However, when opening the Chromecast device, I get the following pop-up. To control this device's volume with your phone, displays, or Assistant, change your Chromecast settings on your TV.". Also, as shown below, the casting option just isn't there. Very confused.

The Home app is slightly different for Android and Apple devices.

Apple devices cannot screen mirror so the "cast" option isn't in the Apple version of the Home app.

For iPhones and iPads, you cast directly from any of the thousands and thousands of cast enabled apps (such as Netflix, YouTube, etc).   Or, you use the apps installed on your Chromecast with Google TV device.
