i need to give you new card details but you won't let me

can't select a new primary method in subscriptions

can't delete the old card that's not valid

adding a new method uses the old card

removing all cards option asks to add a new card

hit save and nothing changes

if you want my money for next month's youtube and aware-plus you need to fix your broken computers

at my wits end i opened everything up on chrome

you need to enable 3rd party cookies. or just copy a cookie across from a device that already did the process. it's the card providers' domains

appalling that nobody at google has noticed you can bypass all verification. get yourself at least a free day when your month is up with a random string of 16 characters 😎

Hi @eighty666

To protect your privacy, we cannot help with account or billing related issues in this public community. To get the best support with this issue:

  1. Go to Contact Us - Google Nest Help.
  2. Select a category / product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
  3. Click "Other".
    1. If you're signed into your Google account, select the affected device from the dropdown. If you don't see the affected device listed or you're not contacting about a specific device, select "My device is not listed".
    2. If you're not signed into your Google account, you won't see the device selection dropdown.
  4. Enter the serial number of your device (if applicable), then click "Next step".
    1. If you're signed into your Google account and have open cases, you'll see these listed. If you're contacting about a different issue, click "Next step".
    2. If you're not signed into your Google account, you won't see this step.
  5. Review the available help resources, and if none resolve the issue, click "Next step".
  6. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.

i did that. aside of a goofy automated message nothing happened.

i've seen threads all closed all unsolved on this dated 2021

fix your shoddy, broken website i don't want to have to sign up to spotify if i can help it, you know?

what's all this "WE" business? you really are dirty lieing scum you know this, right?

iiiiiii don't work for google i'm just a mongbot

sure... sure...

Thanks i tried it did not expect that it would work but it actually worked but It is such a pain that we even have to do this but at least it can work. Support should really fix this so no one has to jump through hoops.

Your Welcome Haha i did not expect it to either at first, but sometimes these weird workarounds actually do the trick but at least there is a way to get it done until they fix it properly.

there is no workaround it doesn't work in any apps any more or google's website

it's broken. it says so in my original post.
