So, I was forced to migrate my nest account to google. Now, my nest app on my appletv no longer works. It will not let me log in. Keeps telling me I’ve used an incorrect email or password, which is not true.
If migrating no longer allowed Apple products to view, why want I warned about it?
You should leave your customers out of your turf wars. We are showing our support by migrating. However, y’all were so annoying about it and, yes, you CYOB with the legalize and we wound up on the short end. If we had an option to leave many of us would.

So I have been using google nest for about a year now and have been trying to log in on my Apple TV. I thought it was just a bug but apparently it is not. After googling this issue I have come across multiple threads of people expressing their frustration with this feature no longer working. Which is a shame as this would be a great feature. In all the threads I have read there have been the “customer service” agents saying the “we hear ya” & “we’ll make sure to pass this info on” and yet here we are still complaining about an issue that is clearly not getting fixed. Something that is shown as a feature is really not a feature. Had I know that Google wasn’t going to support their products I would have thought twice about switching over to it!

So basically your response is Thanks but we really don’t give a crap!? We acknowledge that it’s a problem, so we’ll write it down on a sticky note and stick it in the trash!!
What WE have learned from this experience is that Google likes to blow smoke and act like they care about our concerns but in fact they really don’t! It’s apparent that google is not in the market to improve their products based on customer feedback….the only improvements that ACTUALLY matter! 👎🏿
Does Google have a plan to correct this issue? I’ve been trying several months to try to figure this out. Does Google have a Google Home equivalent for Apple TV we can use?
