Linking spotify

My Google Nest Mini is not connecting to spotify, I am able to select spotify and it bring me to my spotify and says it is authorized, but when I try to play music, it says that it isn't linked. I've tried uninstalling both Google home and spotify apps, my spotify email is the same as my Google home email like what other forums have said but it still doesn't work.

My apologies for the late response here. I understand the feeling when you can't link your Spotify account to the Google Home app. To confirm, did you try linking your Spotify account to the Google Home app while the Spotify app is uninstalled? Have you tried to use a different phone? Also, what country are you located in?

Hi Muddi,

 
I've only tried linking to spotify while both apps are installed. The connection works fine on other Samsung devices but I haven't tried other Apple devices. I'm currently located in Singapore.

Hi Lazkfk,

 

Thanks for the information. Once you were able to link your Spotify account using a different phone - there's no need for you to link it again using a different device. It should appear as "Linked" on all of your devices.
