Purchased second Nest outdoor camera now I do not have past video feed. Account says I need a subscription. All ready have the camera connected to my account. The first camera allows me to see the previous 30 days. Not the new camera.

If you have an active Nest Aware subscription, that should cover all cameras that are linked to the same Home/structure. If there was an issue with no footage, there may have been a change in payment or a lapse in the subscription that generally does the trick. Please let me know if you have further questions.

Still Have the problem with my nest outdoor camera the nest doorbell camera works fine but my nest outdoor camera will only let me see live video still have this problem. Thanks for your help

Have you tried to Restart or Factory reset that camera? If your Camera is turned on, powered, connected to the wifi, then it should be covered still by Nest Aware. It will cover all Nest/Google cameras in the Home/Structure.

Try to factory reset the camera. Tried removing it from my account and then selecting it from my account. The camera will not give me anything more than the current video or notification. Another tech told me to use a paper clip to reset the camera on the wired nest outdoor camera there is no reset button. As of todayThe camera will not give me anything more than current video

Are you sure you have a Nest Aware subscription? You would be able to view the live footage, and any clips from an Event that may have occurred. And are you 100% sure that all of your cameras were set up on the same account?

I have the same subscription I’ve had for years. The nest doorbell cam works fine live videos for the previous five days and everything. The nest front doorbell camera the nest door lock the nest thermostat all worked fine it’s just a new camera that I added will not give me anything more than mentioned above thank you

Your new camera wouldn't have any footage if there aren't any events. Are you expecting to see saved footage on a brand new camera? You would have to see events first before you could view any footage besides the live footage.

There are events such as people walking through the yard.But when you click on The event as you get is a photo. The front door camera will give me people walking up to the front door for approximately five to 30 seconds. But the outdoor camera will only give me a photo of the event that occurred previously.

I walk up to the camera wave at the camera stand in front within 5 feet of the camera and then walk away. I believe that would constitute an event five minutes later you try to look at the Event and all you get is a photo.

I am aware of a delay in notifications, as this is an issue being worked on at the moment. But I am not sure why you are only getting a photo and not a video clip. I wish I had a fix for this but I do not. Please restart or factory reset the camera, remove it and add it back, whatever you have to do to test this issue on your end.

BTW. This is what the app reads.
Settings.
nest aware.
frontdoor camera—- ACTIVE.
outdoor camera—— NO SUBSCRIPTION.
go to camera (SUBSCRIPTION NONE)
That is my Problem. And yes I have removed it and reinstalled it twice.
Will try a third time tonight
