Stupid Q about deleting account

When I go to manage account via the nest website in order to delete the account I don't get the option to delete anything but the whole google account which I'm pissed off enough to do right about now. Searches bring up nothing. The online instructions don't gel with what I'm seeing. How do I delete this account? The app doesn't connect to the wifi and I just want to delete the whole thing and go without. Thanks and sorry for being cranky about it. Technology is great when it works and sucks when it doesn't even when it's user error.

Sorry to hear about the issues you're having, I know it can be frustrating, and you're right about technology, but I'm happy to help. 

If you have an existing non-migrated Nest Account, you can follow the steps below - however, you would need to be able to log in to delete it.

1. Sign in to your account using a phone, tablet, or computer.
2. Tap Settings .
3. Select Account, then Manage Account.
4. Tap Delete Account and confirm that you'd like to delete your account.
5. You'll receive an email from account@nest.com. Read the entire email and click on the provided link to finish the account deletion process.
