sharing a home in google home

I setup a google home today, I have tried to share the setup with my wife, when I get to the end of the string of questions and try to send the invite, I get a black message at the bottom of the page stating that it cant do it now or something like that, is there a setting to turn on so I can share the control of the house, I have tried with different accounts to na avail...   ???

Hey benny2599,

 

Got it. For the workspace account, they might need to contact his son if he's the administrator of the account. You can create a new account for him if that's easier for you.

the message is  "Can't send invitation at the moment. Try again.". HELP Please

Hey benny2599,

 

Thanks for reaching out — let's check this out.

 

A few questions: are you using an Android or iOS? Are you inviting a regular Google Account? You can't invite the persons with Google Workspace (G Suite) accounts and Google Account for children under 13 (or the applicable age in the customer's country). 

 

Try uninstalling and reinstalling your Google Home app. Try also using a different phone to isolate the issue.

Hi Alex

thanks for the reply, I am using an IOS device, and the person i am inviting may have had a google workspace account, he is not very agile with the techno stuff so he does not remember doing any of it, maybe his son. connected him to this service, is there a way to disconnect him from the workspace account, he isn't using any of it
