HI,
As part of the installation I opened the Nest App and scanned the camera bar code. It then asked me to use Google Home App to continue the installation. All is done and I can access the Nest cam via Google Home App but I'm not able to add this camera to Nest app where I have my rest of the camera. I thought it should be intuitive enough however I don't see a clear way to add this camera to Nest App. Any help/pointer is appreciated.
Thanks!

If the Nest app prompted you to use the Home app for setup, you have a newer Nest Cam that does not need to be and cannot be added to the Nest app. The model of camera you have is designed for and managed with the Home app.

Thanks for the quick response @David_K! Wondering if they are trying to deprecate Nest app and move everything to Home?

I've not aware of any current plans to deprecate the Nest app. However, Google continue to work on bringing features and settings from the Nest app over to the Home app.
