So sorry for your loss!
If you have access to your husband's account, you can remove the Nest Hello from the Google Nest app, do a factory reset, and then reinstall the Nest Hello in the Google Nest app while logged on to your own Google (gmail) Account.
If there was a Nest Aware subscription, you'll want to cancel that, because they are not transferrable.
