Hi Jan
What type of camera is in question? Google nest
What's the make and model of your phone? Samsung s22+
When did the issue start? Since switching phones
What troubleshooting steps have you tried? It lets me adjust volume when I'm connected to a Bluetooth headset but just not on the mobile phone's speakers.

I am terribly sorry to hear that you're having this issue with your Nest camera! I'm sure it's frustrating but I'm happy to look into this and see how we can help out. The first troubleshooting step that I'd recommend would be to Restart your device. By doing this, it should keep all your settings, and reconnect it to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever freezes, has connection problems, or isn't working normally.
Best regards,
Brad

Hi there,
I have tried restarting and as it try changing the volume level the indicator moves but the volume that comes out does not respond to the levels as displayed. It just stays constant at the same volume level.

I am glad to hear you have tried those troubleshooting steps! It is too bad they didn't resolve the issue for you. I found a great article that I would suggest you take a look at which can be found here.
Best regards,
Brad
