I have never been so frustrated with Google in all my life - I have tried 7 times now to get a hold of Google Nest Support in Australia. Everytime I call or chat and reach an Australian (asia-pacifc) agent they cant help and transfer me to the US. The US tell me
It seems you've contacted US/Canada support, please contact +61-1800-905-941 8 A.M. - 7 P.M. AET Mon-Sun for assistance for Australia.
The most ridiculous thing is the 1800 905 941 number is always closed and DOES NOT WORK.
When I tell the agent that I have tried everything and that the number doesn't work I usually get the chat terminated on me.
I have an issue that noone seems to help me with - I have 4 nest cam with floodlights in my house. Three installed fine and the forth (garage) had an error appear where it wouldnt allow me to view the feed, After googling a few solutions I completed a factory reset which worked and named the camera carport.
The problem is that Garage still sits on google home and no matter what I do, wether it is delete the app, clear cache or whatever I cannot remove the Garage from my account. This would be ok but when I ask google to turn lights on and off I keep getting told it cannot connect to the Garage (which makes sense as the camera is working and called Carport).
All I want is for Google to actually help me.
I think my email would probably have about 10 open cases now about this.
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!

Is the reply on this post of any help?

Hiya @MplsCustomer - Thanks - I was really hoping to avoid doing this. But will give it a shot. Any reason you can think of as to why the support is so horrible? Posting in a forum shouldn't be my only option to get help.

I am just another Google Nest customer and cannot answer why Google Nest's level of support is what it is, especially in Australia, judging from your experience. I don't know whether @David_K 's suggestions for removing a defunct device will work for you. I believe he's posted it more than once, but I see now that it didn't work in the post I referred you to.
Sometimes a Google Nest Community Specialist jumps in on a thread and asks a customer to fill out a "form" for further help, but I don't know whether that leads to a resolution.

Most of the time, one of those two steps seems to work but occassionally not (as in the example you linked to) and I'm honestly not sure why that's the case. I have also seen some users report that the device they wanted to remove disappeared after a day or so of unlinking the service it was linked to as another example.
