Gen 2 Doorbell Doesn't chime inside after setup

I installed the gen 2 doorbell (wired).  After I made all of my connections before mounting it on the wall I hit the doorbell button (before finishing setup)... *ding dong* inside.. YES!!!... I finish the setup and now no audible sound from the chime inside.  If I factory reset and hit the button before finishing set up... ding dong inside... finish set up... Nothing.  I have played with the settings between electronic and non-electronic chime and still nothing... HELP!... when the bell is pressed it notifies me via my phone and otherwise works seamlessly.

Hi everyone,

@Whitace, thanks for posting here in the Community. The Nest Doorbell (wired, 2nd gen) has higher power requirements than most doorbells. You need a transformer that is rated for 16-24 V AC, 10-40 VA to provide enough power to your Nest Doorbell. If you've already installed your Nest Doorbell and you see a blinking yellow light on the front, your Nest Doorbell isn't receiving enough power. Hit this link for more information.

I appreciate the help, alex2023.

Regards,

Emerson

If you go to the Device features > Doorbell settings, do you have "Ring indoor chime" enabled?

Yes I tried that... I thought I put it in my original post.  I've tried it both ways and nothing 😞
