It’s not even that old and it’s peeling off - looks horrible. Contacted customer service and they laughed at me, suggesting it’s time for a new one??!! Really - I spent $200 on this piece of crap and it looks like a cheap knock-off??!! Where’s the great customer service, Google?! I guess you have it only when you push for an upgrade??!!

There are over 320 threads in this forum about "peeling" Google Nest Hello Doorbells, along with over 45 threads on "delaminating" Nest Hellos. Our 23-month-old Google Nest Hello Doorbell is one that's peeling. Google Nest's stance is that, unless we are within the 1-year warranty period, they "cannot" replace the doorbell or do anything else (such as a discount on a replacement doorbell). Their stance is the same on the failure of the internal battery in the Nest Hello after 1 or 2 years, which causes the doorbell to go offline when the doorbell is pressed. That's happened to 2 of our Nest Hellos, both less than 2 years old. If you are within the 1-year warranty period--or want to try to see if they'll replace it anyhow--you can try contacting Google Nest Support here: https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp?hl=en
