Just got a Google nest cam. The nest app tells me it must be set up in the home app, which tells me it must be setup in the nest app.

I've seen some customers in this forum report that they were able to resolve this Catch-22 error by updating their Google Home app to the most recent version.

Yup. I'm getting the same problem. I can access my Next Thermostat app, login and all that, but when I got to set up a Google Home app and migrate, it sends me in an endless loop where I can neither migrate nor set the cam up with skipping migration. What a horrible experience.

Hi Everyone, I believe MplsCustomer is correct. Just go to the app store and search for the google home app and you should see an "UPDATE" button there. If it just say OPEN then you already have the newest version.
