Hi Frankie,
I'm afraid you can't do that. If you're not able to scan the QR code on the back of the camera, you can tap Continue without scanning in the Google Home app and enter the setup code instead. If you don’t know where the setup code is, you can tap Find the code for help.

I found the code after entering the 6 digit code I’m asked to locate the serial # after finding I’m told to keep the last 4 digits of serial # ???? THEN NOTHING HAPPENS what next

I already set up my outdoor nest cam and I now want to change my wifi password. It is asking me to scan the code. It is 30ft away hanging from my roof. How do I do that?

Same problem. You would think the company would have a way to reconnect if you change WiFi !
so let’s make people climb up on their houses and uninstall the camera every time they change their settings 🙄 brilliant

Mine won't scan and there is no 6 digit code. Very disappointed
