Nest Cam Back with QR code and6 digit number wiped clean

Our cleaning lady accidently picked up the camera and cleaned it. In the result the QR code and activation are wiped clean. I dont want to loose the cam. I have a verizon wifi I used nest app and google home. Can please get step by step instructions on how to retrieve the either code?

You cannot install or reinstall a Google Nest camera or doorbell without either the QR code or the 6-character Setup Code.

You could try contacting Support (https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp), but judging from other posts in this forum, I don't think they have any way of providing you with either.

@CarlB, thanks for posting here in the Community. We understand your concern, however, the qr code and setup code are unique to each Nest device and it's required for setting them up with the app. Let us know if you have other questions in mind.
