Nest Doorbell Announcements not showing on home display

I've had my nest doorbell for a while and I used to get announcements on my Google Home displays. Now when the doorbell rings I hear an announcement on my speakers but the streaming video is no longer on the displays. There's no indication on a display that the doorbell was pressed.

They are in the same home and I have personal results and visitor announcements on. Again this used to work and now it doesn't. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Thanks again for the reply, but I did try that and it didn't work. However I just found out what the issue was! I have two displays and for some reason they were both set to do not disturb. I don't recall doing that but, somehow they got switched. I turned that off and they both work fine now. Thanks again for your time and trying to help! Much appreciated!

I wonder whether these two thread from a couple of days ago on problems with Android customers viewing video might apply to your situation:

Hi, thanks for the reply! Unfortunately no this isn't my problem. If I go to my device I can stream the live video by selecting it and it works with no problem. My issue is that when the doorbell rings I don't get notifications on my display, and the video does not come up. But thanks for responding!

That's not right. What if you tried toggling "Visitor announcements" off and then back on on your doorbell, just to see if that jogs the function into working again?

Hey folks,

Awesome, sounds good! As we got our resolution here, I'm going to mark this thread as resolved. I'll be locking this thread if we won't hear back from you again in 24 hrs. Should that happen, feel free to create a new one if you have more questions or have other concerns in the future.

Thanks for your help here, MplsCustomer.

Best,

JT
