Hi,
I have noticed this evening my Nest Doorbell is starting to delaminate around the lower area of the lens.
The doorbell has only been installed for around a year so I would not expect this to happen so quickly.
Seems a common issue looking online - please can you advise how I can arrange a warranty replacement?
Regards

Andy, I have the same issue with the delaminating and our doorbell has been installed since May 2020. The customer service agent told me it’s warranty ended May 2021 and we are outside of that window. Our bell is no longer covered. I am also disappointed with the service and unwillingness to help me a long time nest customer. Very poor product and a missed opportunity to help customers with a common quality issue. Best of luck!

After sending our receipt of the April 2020 purchase from the Google store, the agent sent us a new doorbell, and package label to return the faulty. Make sure you engage their customer service through their support page. Glad this was resolved.

Spoke to google via the call back option. New doorbell received within 72hours. Faulty doorbell posted back. Great service.

My Nest Hello is out of warranty but I called anyway. I was told that my nest doorbell should be out of the weather which is kind of confusing since it's a doorbell. Google really needs to fix this because overall it's a great product but who in their right mind would pay $230 for a new doorbell every couple of years. I will be posting a video on YouTube soon so others will know this before buying.

Unfortunately my doorbell has been out of warranty for some time, so there's nothing that can be done. So I just want to inform others of the issue with the doorbell if they're interested in buying.

Hi,
I came across this thread in a search as I seem to have the exact same thing happen: my Nest doorbell has suddenly started to "de-laminate". I've had it for a couple of years without any issue. This is really disappointing that the entire front surface suddenly looks like it's peeling. Would very much appreciate assistance. Thank you.
