Just replaced my original Nest Doorbell with a 2nd Gen Doorbell. How do I get a video to display on the NEST App?? Does display on the HOME App.

The newer Nest Cams and Doorbells are only compatible with the Google Home app. To view the stream on your computer, go to home.google.com. As of now you cannot view your video history on the web but you can still view it in the Google Home app.

Bought a wired nest doorbell. Have a nest account with 5 day video length on my other 3 cameras. When motion is detected I only get a snapshot, no video. How do I get my video history to start with my account?

I have an older original doorbell camera.. It died and I installed a new 2nd addition unit without deleting the older unit that no longer worked. The new unit was installed and displayed a picture on the NEST application along with a blank picture of the older version doorbell. In an attempt to correct this double picture, I "deleted the camera". Was simply trying to get the new camera to display on the NEST application alone. Thanks

Hi there,
dcddmd, I'm sorry to hear that. Let's check this. Did you receive an email confirmation that you signed up with Nest Aware in the right home structure? Usually, if the video recording isn’t kicking in, there’s a possibility that it was tied to another home structure.
jweidner, you're welcome! If you need help in the future, you know where to find us.
Best,
JT
