The Nest doorbell camera is fuzzy with black vertical lines. It happens usually at night. If I rub clean the lens or the sensor with my finger it disappears for a couple of seconds and then returns. Anyone?

Exactly same thing happens to my two new Nest cams (battery) delivered today. Is it known issue?

I just got one delivered today. 3 black lines. Used eyeglass cleaning cloth on lens and still there. is this part of the sensor normal? I have only tried mine in my office. Was going to mount it to see if it clears up. Different lighting outside.

I am replacing my doorbell, we'll see if it is a HW or SW defect.
Few things I noticed are that it doesn't happen when in night vision mode, happens when it is dark outside and there's some external source of light, turning on/off the light above the doorbell temporarily resolved the problem.

Thanks for info. I think it is the same issue with the external lights. The problem is it is normal light from everywhere. I may return and get the replacement too.
