Had been working fine for months. Now suddenly I get the video feed but no sound on my android. I am in a household and others (including administrator) get sound with their I-phones.
Any help would be great appreciated!

Hi, I'm an end use like you. The only thing that comes to mind is to make sure you are on the newest version of the App. I'm not sure how it works on Android but on iPhone you go to the App store and search for the app and if there is an "UPDATE" button present then you do the update.
It that isn't it then I think your best bet is to speak with an actual Google Tech person on the phone. Here is the link you use to get that phone call set up:

Thank you. I uninstalled and then reinstalled the latest version of the app and still no sound. Will try the call.

Good luck, I'd love to know how it goes and if they were able to get you up and running.... and what they did. I see other people reporting this issue as well. Seems to be mostly Android related (not confirmed).

My brother actually helped me. I was using Google Home. He told me to use Nest. Once I used the Nest app I was able to get sound again
