Chromecast volume jumps around with soundbar

When I change the volume using the Chromecast remote's side buttons, the volume bounces up and down a few notches before settling on a random number. This happens when I am streaming YouTube TV and other apps on an Insignia TV with a Vizio soundbar model # SB3651-F6 connected by bluetooth. Chromecast volume controls work fine when I use the TV speakers and not the soundbar. I just bought the TV (40" Class N10 Series LED Full HD TV
Model: NS-40D510NA2) and Chromecast model # GA03131-US from Best Buy.

Do you have to configured for CEC volume control or how? Have you configured the sound bar in the CCwGTV?

You can find those settings under the remote controls submenu in settings.
