Is there a way to just cast the screen from Google Chrome when casting from a Chromecast-enabled site?
I don't like how Google chrome casts the video with the Chromecast-enabled app and the interface. So, I would like to know if there is a way to cast the screen instead of connecting to the Chromecast-enabled app when casting the Chromecast-enabled site (such as Netflix and Disney+).
I don't think it is possible with the current version of Chromecast and Google Chrome after some Googling and testing on chrome://flags. So, a workaround (maybe with a script) would also be appreciated.
Thank you.

Many years ago you used to be able to disable this using a Chrome flag, but that is no longer possible and to my knowledge, there are no workarounds to change this behaviour anymore.
This is mostly a user to user community, therefore if this is important to you, I’d encourage you to also send this feedback directly to Google. You will not receive a response, unless Google need more details from you, however the team are still reading the feedback.
