School district trying to use Chromecast connected to Epson projectors in classrooms. Casting tabs of docs or sheets is very blurry. Casting videos look great.
I do not believe this is a plug in issue as it is blurry directly from google workplace apps.
Casting from google chromebooks using 3rd gen Chromecasts.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi FSD_Hazelbaker,
Officially, Chromecast is only supported when connected to the HDMI input of a standard TV. Do you experience the same poor picture quality if you connect it directly to a normal TV, just to test?

Yes. Past testing showed the same experience when connected to an HD TV. I just find it strange that it is essentally google sheets and google docs that are not crisp. As I stated videos look perfect.

Hi FSD, the image quality is readily apparent probably because the CC is designed for video streams and digital quality photos, neither of which sheets and docs probably account for in the rendering process.
Chances are if you crafted those or were able to port those documents to Google Slides the image quality may be better, but that sounds like a lot of extra work. I don't use docs, slides, or sheets for creating, so I could be wrong about porting those things between each other. Is there a raster option for saving maybe?
