I have not migrated, but now find my doorbell does not work as I can't sign in anymore. If I request a password change it sends me the link but when I try to change it it says there is an error. I know my password why will it not let me sign in on any device? the internet connection is fine.

Still can't get into Nest.  All customer service phone numbers are inoperative.  Not even a chat function.   Good going Google.  Not enough money to hire competent techs?

Feel your pain.   Have you migrated to Google Home yet?   Have to do that.

This link saved me.  On hold for hours a couple of times, and while waiting, I found this.

Almost immediate response.  You have to get through the automated questions.   Might have to do it a couple of times.   I did.

Hello everyone,

@sherriebass1, If you've been using the same email to sign in to the Nest app and access your Nest camera, but you can't see your Nest devices, it's likely because you're on a different home structure.

To switch to a different home structure, follow these steps:

1. If you're using an iOS device, tap the three horizontal bars on the top left of the app.

2. On the bottom of the screen, you'll see the other home structures you have on your Nest account.

3. Tap on the home structure you want to switch to.

Let me know if that helps.

Best,
Edmond

I changed my password and now I can't login on my phone. The white circle around the house  just spins.

Hi GQ3,

Thanks for letting us know. Please try uninstalling and reinstalling the app, then try logging in again. If the issue persists, try using your old password. Also, try using a different device to access your account.

Let us know how it goes.

Regards,

Jenelyn

You are on Nest now?   Or were?   If so, that is the  same thing I went through.   I put it off because of the number of devices that I have, but ended up having to.   It's not hard.

I tried calling customer service and was on hold for 45 minutes, then hung up on, more holding, yada yada.

Killed most of a day.  While on hold, found this link.  Immediate help, and resolution!  Good luck.

Having same issue.  Everything was working fine one day and then the next I found myself kicked out of my account and could not log back in.  I am 100% sure of my username/email and password as I keep everything in a secure file.  I have tried unloading the app and reloading on two devices - an iPhone and an iPad.  Tried logging in from both.  Nothing.  Tried the reset password link and nothing comes arrives in my Inbox.  I have checked all spam and have entered Nest into my safe senders.  Thermostat is still working, however, I cannot login to control the thermostat.  Loved the product until now.  HELP!!!!!!

Hello everyone,

@Sneyls, thanks for bringing this up. To know more about this issue, I'd like to confirm, which app are you using to control your Nest Thermostat? Did you migrate your Nest account? Try signing in your same account using our webpage https://goo.gle/2qjvVSU and in case you get the same issue, try clicking the forgot password link there.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks for helping, Edmond and Jenelyn.

Best,

Emerson

EmersonB (and others) - Thank you very much.  I went on the Customer Support page and received immediate help from your Chat.  I initiated the chat at 11:30 PM (PDT) and did not think I would get a response that late in the evening but I was pleasantly surprised someone jumped on.  As per 'Cooper' (definitely not a bot) who helped me out I had discovered my account had been migrated in the past (guess I forgot) and all I had to do was log in using Google using the account name and password that I had.  All is well that ends well but I do want to thank Cooper for his patience and his help.  I was very happy with the Chat support. And very happy that I did receive a reply from you in this community chat space.  Thank you.

My thermostat says it is connected to the app but when I try to access the app on my PC or mobile via Google log in it doesn't see the thermostat and asks me to look for an entry code on the thermostat.  When I try to open the app on the thermostat it just says "App connected".  Help needed as the self learning has gone haywire and keeps altering the temperature!

Lance,

New to this world.  Not sure how to post a question on this same subject, so hopefully you can steer me in the right direction.  I recently had to replace my wireless router.  Setting up the new one I couldn't set up the same network, so my Nest camera is tied to the old wifi.  Then I changed iPhones.  The new one supposedly copied everything across from the old one, but now I cannot get into my Nest account or see what the camera has recorded.  Any suggestions would be gratefully accepted.

Hi folks,

@GuyP, thanks for joining the discussion. I’d be glad to help you with this. Let’s check it out.

First, let’s try to see if your Nest account password is working.

  1. Login to https://goo.gle/2qjvVSU.
  2. If you have a non-migrated account, select “Sign in with Nest.” Otherwise, choose “Sign in with Google.”
  3. If you can sign in, check that you’re logged in with the same account on the new iPhone with the email you used to sign in to the old iPhone.

On the other hand, if you can’t sign in, reset your account password.

Regards,

Lance
