Nest Aware Free Trial Subscription

So, here is the situation. We just got (35 to 40 days ago) a Nest Camera and mounted it. We were enjoying the free subscription till it ran out a couple of days ago. I had meant to renew it; however, didn't get around to doing so till earlier today.

Lo and behold, as Murphy is an arse, the police visited us today asking if we had history from the 20th as there was a car that may have passed our door that was involved in some sort of incident. Of course, it appears that all history from before has disappeared and all that shows now is "No Recorded Events". There were definitely some events; however, I believe letting the Free Tier lapse before purchasing our subscription led to the removal of the whole history.

Is there any way to recover or access any of that history at this point or is it lost in the ether? We are yearly members at this point; which I had meant to do all along; but just got sidetracked from setting up the new subscription by a day or two?

Any help would be appreciated by me and the local state troopers?

Thanks,
T

Unless you saved the event as a video clip or timelapse before the trial expired, all of your recorded video history was erased when the trial ended and there is no way to restore it unfortunately.
