Hi
I purchased a nest aware subscription (on a google nest thermostat) instead of my nest door bell. How do correct this without cancelling existing subscription (I purchased annual). Can I switch the device? Both are in same property/structure

Okay I suspect that you have two seperate homes setup, which is why there is this issue. You will need to remove the doorbell entirely, and then reset it up under your main "home" where the thermostat is.
It should look similar to the screenshot below when done :

The nest aware subscription would apply to your account, not your thermostat, so if you have signed up with the same account that your nest cameras are linked to, then you are good to go.

Which app are you using , Google home or nest ? Also I suppose I should ask which doorbell you have, 1st gen or the new battery model?

since i have different names for thermostat and doorbell on google nest app, does it consider them as different structures?

Okay so we will assume it's the 1st gen nest hello, go into your nest app, click settings, nest aware, and tell me what you see there please.
They can have different names, as long as they are part of the same "home" then there is no issue. I'm not sure how your aware subscription would get linked to the thermostat as aware is only for cameras and doorbells.

if i select doorbell on my nest app>settings>nest aware, i see "meet the new nest aware" and features
if i select thermostat, nest app>settings>nest aware, i see "Active: Nest aware"
