My downstairs Neat Protect has been giving a carbon monoxide sensor failure alert every day for the past week. It says to replace the Nest Protect. It’s just over 2 years old and all systems checks come back as “everything’s ok”. Is there a way to fox this issue without having to replace is completely? What are my options?

Hey TripleA64,
Apologies for the delayed response. I wanted to reach out and see if you are still having trouble with the device having a sensor failure. Please let me know, as I would be happy to assist you further, and ensure you are good to go.
Best regards,
Jake

I am also getting this same error everyday. Please help.

Thank you for your response! The chirping stopped going off everyday, but when I check the app it still has a daily “sensor failure” message. Also, last night a rotating orange light turned on when I shut off the lights (instead of the usual green light) and the night light doesn’t come on anymore.

Hi there,
Apologies for the late response, but I wanted to hop in here to see how i could help.
I would suggest reviewing this article as it has all the lights and sounds that the Nest Protect gives off and their meanings.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Best regards,
Garrett DS

I am getting error warning message everyday. This started on November 5th. Could it be caused by software update if any?
