Hi all,

I am trying to install my wired nest protect but, when I removed the back plate of my old alarm I am confronted with (i) four live wires, (ii) two neutrals and (iii) an earth wire (shown in photo). Does anyone know how these should be terminated to work with the Nest protect?

Many thanks,

Hey there,

Sorry for the late response, but I wanted to drop in here to help.

I understand that Nest Protect wiring can be confusing but I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help.

Just wanted to double check to see if you were still needing help on this? If so, what troubleshooting steps have you tried?

Please let me know.

Best regards,

Garrett DS

Hi Garrett,

Can you please answer the question so others (like myself with a GE NX-8v2 system) can find out if I can utilize this solution.  Thanks!
