Hi,
I’ve just moved house and trying to install my 2 Nest Protects into sites where there are currently wired smoke detectors.
However I don’t have the box with the 230v AC power connector so can’t fit it (my previous house already had a power source to the smoke alarms with the correct fitting.
How do I get 2 x replacement 230v AC power connectors?
Many thanks,
Bruce

DM the google nest support Twitter account and they will reply and sort it. They sent me out replacement parts but you need the serial number of your nest protect.

Any luck on this? I’ve been waiting over a month. Best reached out and then they have gone silent despite numerous emails.

I have the same issue but don't have a Twitter account. Is there any other way I can request / purchase these?

I tried that but my nest protect is out of warranty. Nest refuses to send the part if you don’t have an active warranty. I have searched everywhere but can’t find this replacement part online. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am happy to pay for the part but it seems Nest hoards them in order to force you to buy an entirely new unit. Disgusting and not environmentally friendly considering this device works perfectly fine.

I found this connector on Ebay. Maybe this connector will fit?

Hello there,
Thanks for assisting, Emerson.
@Kjetil-Nyberg, thanks for posting and for sharing a cable harness that would work for the Nest Protect. I wanted to see if you still needed help. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.
Regards,
Mark

I have not verified that the cable harness will work. Just did a quick search and see if I found something close. Myself I solved the problem in another way, thank you.
I am no need of further help as I got my three Nest Protect working now. Just too bad they don't integrate together with my other smart home devices in Google Home. I am currently working on a solution on that too and might have found a way around the issue.
Thank you
