Nest keeps saying hi

Following up on my Nest saying hi. It has started doing it again ,  done a reset and it still does it.  I have now removed the batteries and disconnected from the mains.

Hey Neil4,

 

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that. To confirm, were you able to try using a new batteries to see if that helps? Also, try to run a Safety Checkup and let us know how it goes. Check out this link on How to start a Safety Checkup.

Hello Archie, sorry forgot to reply earlier, it is a wired version but i did put in new batteries as you suggested, and did a safety check up bit a day later it started saying hi again.

so I ended

up getting a new one which is now installed
